Grim Dawn’s graphics just reminded me of a game from the 90’s, so I assumed this was an older game like Titan Quest, that was re-released on Steam.
Grim Dawn is part of my Best Hack and Slash Games list, so check that out as well if you like this genre. Something about the cover image and the game graphics of the trailers, felt very hard on the edges and weren’t as polished as games like Diablo and Wolcen. I’ve had this game on my Steam wishlist for a long time now, but never went through with the purchase until recently, when I wanted to create this list of the best hack and slash games. Because as someone who likes quite a few niche games (for which this type of development would work great), and belives that smaller teams almost always make better games, I would love to see you guys succed.Īs per FAQ "These expansions will be similar to a normal boxed game-expansion" is great to hear, considering that most dlc's for other rpg's amount to something like horse armor or an hour or two worth of content, while proper expansions have become history. Perhaps it would have been better not to mention dlc's at this stage, so that people don't get any paranoid ideas (like I did).
Simply put, the uncertainty of what exactly I may be paying for, a great game, or a bunch of dlc's to pay for in the future. It's just something that would be on the back of my mind while pre-ordering or donating money. Click to expand.The problem is that when I read "planned dlc's", I thought of possibility that instead of simply using cummunity's pre-orders to build the best initial game you can, your team might instead build a game with less content and use some of those funds to create dlc's in order to maximize on the good will of the community.
